In case you all are curious, I am still on my green smoothie kick. It did not end with my Green Smoothie Week.
Although I do have to admit that I am not having one every afternoon like I used to.
But they are still my absolute favorite way to sneak in some extra leafy greens for myself and for baby girl. Seriously all- she sucks them down like they are the best thing ever.
Like she would have a green smoothie over an Oreo almost any afternoon.
I will take that any day. ;)

Like with this Blackberry Lemonade Green Smoothie I am sharing with you all today.
I decided to add some of my favorite summer flavors- juicy blackberries & fresh squeezed lemonade- to this creamy, delicious, and good-for-you green smoothie...
Blackberry-Lemonade Green Smoothie
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: None
Ingredients (1 smoothie)
- 1/2 of a banana, frozen & then chopped
- Large handful of fresh spinach leaves
- 1/3 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
- Juice from 1 lemon
- 2/3 cup frozen blackberries
- 2/3 cup almond milk
Add all the ingredients to your favorite blender and blend until smooth & creamy. Transfer to a glass or serve straight from your blender cup with a straw.
