Skittles Game Face Fizz- This fruity and fizzy drink is fun for all ages! Make it in your favorite team colors for the big game.

Who is excited for the Big Game tonight? I know we will be watching it in this house. Well, I will be half watching the game between taking sips of this fun Skittles® Game Face Fizz and munching on one of our game day favorite recipes, my MVPeanut Butter SNICKERS® Popcorn. ;)

My husband though? He will be all into the game.

Before any big game, I am making my own game plan for a tasty football party menu. I had to stop by my local Walmart first to pick up some of my game day favorites, like Skittles and SNICKERS.

I knew that for today's big game I wanted to come up with a super fun drink that all the get-together guests could enjoy, including my almost 3 year old daughter.

While picking up a bag of our favorite Skittles at Walmart, it occurred to me why not concoct a fun and fizzy drink in our favorite team colors using the Skittles? :) And thus, my Skittles Game Face Fizz was brought to fruition...

Skittles Game Face Fizz

by Frugal Foodie Mama
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: None
Ingredients (1 drink)
  • 4 oz of club soda
  • 1/4 cup of your favorite team color/flavor of Skittles
  • White grape juice
  • Colored sugar for rimming the glass (in team color of your choice)
Instructions
Place the Skittles in a small glass jar. Pour the club soda over top. Place a lid on the jar and shake gently. Allow the Skittles to sit in the club soda for 5-10 minutes depending on the intensity of color and flavor you want for your drink.

Pour your colored sugar on a small plate or bowl. Then simply wet the rim of the glass with a little of the club soda or white grape juice, and then twist into the sugars until the rim is well coated.

Strain your Skittles flavored club soda into your sugar rimmed glass. Top with white grape juice and give a little stir.
And now you have your game face fizz on!
Enjoy!

**Note- 1 liter of club soda will make about 8 drinks if you are serving these to a larger crowd.

This Skittles Game Face Fizz is so crazy easy to make. As soon as you pour the club soda over the Skittles, the club soda starts changing colors. This is also super fun to do with the kiddos. My daughter thought it was "magic" watching the soda change colors! :)
