These tried and true 10 Family Approved Dinner Recipes are meals that my family asks for time and time again.

I know some of you all have to wonder every once in a while if food bloggers actually end up making and serving the recipes that they share on their blogs often or just a few times for recent development and testing and then we post it and are done with it. Well, I am here to tell you all that the answer is BOTH.

There are definitely recipes- delicious recipes- that I have shared on here that I have only made a handful of times. It isn't that myself and my family didn't like them or that we wouldn't want to eat them again, but for some reason or another those particular recipes just didn't become family favorites.

But then there are recipes, like these 10 Family Approved Dinner Recipes I am sharing with you all today, that my family asks for over and over again and that appear on my weekly plan more than once a month. Not only are these dinner recipes tried and true, but I know these will be the meals that my children will remember years later and ask for when they come home to visit from college (and probably beyond that)... ;)

This hearty & flavorful Weeknight Lasagna Soup makes an appearance on my weekly meal plan at least twice a month. It is so easy to make and can be on your dinner table in around 30 minutes making it perfect for busy weeknights. Not only is this soup a favorite among my own family, but my extended family has sang it's praises as well. :)

This rich & flavorful Slow Cooker Coq au Vin is by far my son's favorite dinner that I make! Prep for this recipe is super quick and easy, and it really is the ultimate slow cooker comfort food. Serve with mashed potatoes, and dinner is served!

This comforting homemade soup recipe is my take on a classic Greek Avgolemono soup, and it happens to be a favorite of every member of my family. It is a go-to for my weekly plan especially during the cold winter months when we are feeling under the weather or are trying to keep the cold germs at bay.  This Homemade Chicken Lemon Soup is the perfect feel better food. :)

3 Ingredient Crock Pot Beef Tacos

Taco night in this house- whether it is on a Tuesday or Friday or any day of the week- is a favorite one in my house. And this 3 Ingredient Crock Pot Beef Tacos recipe is the only taco meat recipe that I use. And the best part? No need to brown the ground beef beforehand! ;)

Pizza Pierogi Casserole

You and your family are going to love this easy to make Pizza Pierogi Casserole! Your favorite pre-made pierogies are layered with jarred pizza sauce and your favorite pizza toppings and then baked until the cheese is ooey, gooey. And bonus? This casserole is freezable, so make two at the same time and freeze one for later.

Easy Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

We have now come to my daughter's absolute most requested dinner- my Easy Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup or as she likes to call it, "Cock-a-doodle Soup". I am pretty sure she would eat this soup every day of the week if I would make it that often! ;) But it does make it on my weekly meal plan about twice a month all year round.

Double Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs

I fiddled with homemade meatball recipes for years until I finally came up with one that my family and I ended up loving. This recipe for Double Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs was truly a labor of love.

These easy to make meatballs get a quick browning and then slow cook until tender in your favorite jarred (or homemade) pasta sauce. Confession- oftentimes I skip stuffing the meatballs with chunks of mozzarella and just double the shredded mozzarella in the recipe.

Cream Cheese Chicken Quesadillas

Quesadilla night in my house is definitely a family event. I slow cook the chicken all day, and whip up the cream cheese chicken mix. My husband is the actual quesadilla maker with our daughter always acting as his eager sous chef. And my son? Well, he is good at eating them! ;)

Simple Ham & Potato Chowder

If there is leftover ham in the house, then this Simple Ham & Potato Chowder is guaranteed to be on our family meal plan for the week. And when I say simple, I mean simple, folks. You literally only need 5 ingredients and about 30 minutes to make this! :) This chowder is so good that sometimes I buy and make a ham just so I will have leftover ham to make this.

Secret Ingredient Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

This creamy & comforting Secret Ingredient Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff happens to be my husband's favorite dinner that I make. Which is kind of surprising since he is not a fan of mushrooms at all. But he loves the flavor that they give this dish. (That's okay though. My daughter & I happen to be huge mushroom fans, so we eat all of his mushrooms. ;) ) This is another slow cooker recipe that doesn't require any browning of the meat making prep super easy.

Easy Homemade Chicken Broth

And how about a little bonus recipe? Okay, so this one isn't so much a dinner recipe, but my Easy Homemade Chicken Broth often serves as the base for a few of the family approved dinner recipes I shared above.

I know what you may be thinking- why bother making your own when you can just pick up a carton at the store? But trust me on this- homemade is just so much healthier and richer in flavor. :) And it is way easier to make than you may think.
