Summer Blog Challenge, Day 37- If I Knew I Couldn't Fail...

If I knew I couldn't fail, I would absolutely have another baby with my husband.  Our daughter is now 5 months old, and I am already being asked (quite often, actually) if my husband and I plan to have anymore children.  If I knew for sure that all would go well?  Absolutely.
But I cannot know for that sure.  I am so, so grateful that we have our baby girl.  She came to us after I had suffered two miscarriages in a row.  My doctor ordered every blood test under the sun, did a saline sonogram, but we never received an answer as to why I lost my babies.
I consider myself so blessed and fortunate that my body was able to sustain and keep our daughter for the full nine months without any complications.

Sometimes I fear tempting fate again...
But if I knew that my body would not fail me again, that I would be able to get pregnant and stay pregnant without incident, then I wouldn't think twice about having one more sweet baby with my husband.

This photo was taken 10 days before our sweet baby girl entered this world. <3

  6. Sorry to hear that it was a hard road for your sweet one. It's hard when our bodies don't do what we expect of them.

    Enjoy your little peanut. :)

  7. I hear of a lot of women finding it hard to get pregnant and keep the pregnancy. Luckily enough eventually your body made it, and you two now have the most beautiful thing in this world :) I'm happy for you though not knowing you.
