Summer Blog Challenge, Day 38- Song lyrics that you find some meaning in...

"Always remember, there is nothing worth sharing
Like the love that let us share our name. "
~The Avett Brothers~

These song lyrics were framed and displayed on a table at our wedding reception amidst framed photos of our parents and our grandparents on their wedding days.

These words have such profound meaning to us.  The families that we have each shared last names with, and then the ceremony that would result in my husband and I now sharing a name.  Our wedding day was very family centered, steeped in tradition and memories.  These song lyrics were an absolute perfect representation of our special day. <3

  1. What lovely lyrics and a beautiful wedding photo! I like how they are displayed as a constant and positive reminder.

  2. I love it! We had framed photos of our grandparents on their wedding days at our wedding too. Now all five of the photos hang on a wall in our living room. What fitting lyrics!

  3. What a beautiful sentiment and such gorgeous photos! I had never heard of the Avett Brothers before. I'm listening now on YouTube. Love it!

  4. I love your wedding photo. What a beautiful party you had!

  5. I love reading about your wedding... and oh, yes... the photos and the lyrics are simply another fantastic element of love on your special day.
