Disney in Color- Green

So I have been anxiously awaiting this GREEN Disney in Color post.  And when you scroll down to my last photo you will see why. ;)

My son and two of his friends with one of the green army men from A Toy Story at Disney Hollywood Studios.

My son and I being goofy at Animal Kingdom

And now what you have been waiting for...
Me dressed as Tinkerbell! ;D

Hey, I wasn't the only one dressing up!  This is me pictured with two of my fellow teachers and one of our students.  We all dressed up for our last night in Disney. We did it for the kids.  Wink, wink. ;)
Neat story, but "Alice" and I were waiting to catch one of the shuttle buses back to our resort when a mother with a very sad little girl dressed as a princess got in line behind us.  The little girl had obviously been crying.  Her mother's face lit up when she saw myself and "Alice".  The little girl who had been clinging tightly to her mama sobbing turned her head and saw us and immediately started grinning.  Apparently, the poor little thing had waited in line for a very long time, but didn't get to meet any of the princesses and was so sad and disappointed. "Alice" and I played our parts, took photos with the little girl, and signed her Disney autograph book.  I even gave her my magic Tinkerbell wand.
I almost teared up when we boarded that bus.  That little girl was beaming.  <3

Disney in Color- Brown

This week's Disney in Color post is all about Brown.  Most of my brown-hued photos were taken in Animal Kingdom...
From top left, clockwise: Bats while waiting in line for the Kali River Rapids Ride; The Tree of Life, Owl carved into the Tree of Life, Jake & a couple of his classmates being silly inside in the Tree of Life. ;)

There was also some brown to be had an Epcot.
On the left, the Neptune Fountain at Plaza de Teatro in the Italy Pavilion.
On the right, at the Morocco Pavilion.

Disney in Color- Pink

First of all I want to say a big hello & welcome to my new friends! :) The blog readership has been growing this week, and I am so happy to have all of you here to share my journey.

I started doing the Disney in Color weekly posts a few weeks ago.  (Although, I will admit that I skipped last week. The color was orange and I really didn't have very many good Disney photos with orange in them.  Boo. )
The Disney in Color posts are something fun and whimsical for me to do once a week.  My son and I went to Disney for the first time a couple of years ago, and we have been dreaming of going back ever since.  I also cannot wait to take baby girl there when she is a little older.  It will be fun to also experience the parks (especially Magic Kingdom!) with a little girl. ;)

Anyways, this week's color is PINK!

Okay, so I know that the waffle isn't pink, but the plate is! ;) This was my breakfast our first morning at Disney.  How can you not have a fabulous, magical day when it starts out like this??

Disney in Color- Blue

Okay, so I may have a TON of BLUE Disney photos... But I did narrow it down to a few of my favorites.  I will start with the most iconic blue-topped landmark of all of Disney World- Cinderella's Castle...

We were there for opening day of the Star Wars ride at Disney Hollywood Studios.  There were Storm Troopers on hand for the celebration. ;)

Absolutely Alice OPI nail polish I bought at a little shop in the United Kingdom at Epcot~ magical!

Disney in Color- Silver

Of course the color SILVER is going to have to be represented by one of the most well-known and iconic landmarks of Disney World other than Cinderella's castle itself~ Spaceship Earth at Epcot....

I also included the photo below for the fun, fairy factor. ;) This is one of my favorite things that we did while in the Magic Kingdom~ getting Tinked!  I included this one for the specks of shiny silver (as well as every other color of the rainbow!) glitter in my hair.  I think it took DAYS for this to completely come out of my hair, but it was so fun!

Disney in Color- Teal

Okay, I am doing this purely for the fun factor.  I mean, why else would you blog pics of Disney for any other reason?? ;)  I stumbled across this little photo blog project on my new friend, Sarah-Jayne's blog (whom I also happened to meet because of this little Summer Blog Challenge blog hop I have been doing).  It is called Disney in Color.  Scroll to the bottom of the post for the button to get to that blog hop.

It has been over 2 years since my son and I went to Disney World for the first time.  People who knew me then know that I came back obsessed.  Before this trip, I was a doubter.  I didn't get what the big deal was.  Now I know, and I cannot wait to take my little baby girl there in a few years.

This week's color is TEAL.  This actually was a difficult one for me!  I only found two photos to share.

I had to get the super girly Minnie ears. I mean, I had to! ;)
