From ice cream to breakfast treats to a boozy cocktail, you are sure to find a recipe to satisfy your s'mores addiction in these 20 S'mores Inspired Recipes.

One of my favorite summertime treats is s'mores. I mean, who doesn't like a good classic s'mores with fire roasted marshmallows & ooey, gooey chocolate? And while I could probably enjoy s'mores every evening of June, July & August (and beyond!), sometimes Mother Nature has other plans in store.

Like the strings of thunderstorms & downpours that always seem to happen when we plan to light the fire pit that evening. And sometimes it is just too darn hot! I mean, who wants to sit in front of a roaring fire when temperatures are 80+ degrees and the humidity is at 100%?? Not me. Not even for some tasty s'mores. ;)

And then there are the evenings when we are just too lazy to gather the firewood and get the fire going.

If you sometimes find yourself in the same spot, then you are going to love today's collection of 20 S'mores Inspired Recipes! Each of these delicious recipes have all the elements of a fireside s'mores that you love, but there is no campfire required to make these. From ice cream to breakfast treats to even a boozy cocktail, you are sure to find a recipe below to satisfy your s'mores addiction...

15 Tasty Recipes that Put the Lime in the Coconut

Sweet, creamy coconut and tart lime come together perfectly in these 15 Tasty Recipes that Put the Lime in the Coconut...
Sweet, creamy coconut and tart lime come together perfectly in these 15 Tasty Recipes that Put the Lime in the Coconut.

I am sure you all are probably familiar with these lyrics...
"You put the lime in the coconut and drink them both together
Put the lime in the coconut and you feel better
Put the lime in the coconut and drink 'em all up
You put the lime in the coconut and call me in the morning..."

There is no hidden, mystical meaning behind the lyrics. It's just a fun, catchy song that celebrates something that I think most of us already know- that lime and coconut go damn good together, am I right? ;) There is just something about that combo of creamy, sweet coconut and tart lime that screams summertime to me.

To celebrate my love for all things coconut & lime, I have scoured some of my favorite food blogs to put together this collection of 15 Tasty Recipes that Put the Lime in the Coconut to share with you all today...

35 Recipes to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day All Day Long

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day all day long with these 35 tasty authentic Irish & Irish inspired recipes...

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day all day long with these 35 tasty authentic Irish & Irish inspired recipes.

St. Patrick's Day is a little over a week away, but who is counting? ;) Okay, I am. I am counting. Not that I am Irish or anything. (I went over all of that in my post earlier this week.) But I do love any holiday that gives me an excuse to enjoy good food- especially if it happens to be good ethnic food.

Growing up in an area with a pretty substantial Italian population, I didn't fall in love with Irish food until I moved to Columbus, Ohio in my early 20's (years ago).

Have any of you all heard of Dublin, Ohio? It is a quaint suburb right outside of Columbus, and I lived there for more than half of my time as an Ohio resident. Dublin is home to a handful of local Irish pubs & the widely popular annual Dublin Irish Festival.

It was during my time living in and near Dublin that I acquired my love for corned beef & cabbage, shepherd's pie, Bailey's Irish Cream, and celebrating all things green & Irish on St. Patrick's Day.

Just like Buckeyes football, it was hard not to get sucked right into all the fun, food, fanfare, & excitement while living in a city that celebrated all things Irish pretty much every day but especially so on March 17th of each year. ;)

Whether you celebrate St. Patrick's Day out of pride for your ancestry or you happen to just be in it for the food, you are going to love today's recipe collection I have for you all.

I rounded up 35 of the tastiest authentic Irish & Irish inspired recipes so that you can celebrate St. Patrick's Day all day long on March 17th. From sunrise to sundown, there is a little something for every meal of the day and everything else in between...

Not only are these 12 Healthy & Comforting Soups better for you & packed with the good stuff, but they are also hearty & comforting at the same time.

The colder temperatures have finally started to settle in around here.  With temperatures in the 60's & 70's over Christmas weekend, I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to be able to break out my cute winter sweaters and cozy scarves. ;)

But it seems that winter has finally caught up with us here in the mountain state & just in time for the new year. Time to cozy up with a warm bowl of comforting soup now that it is finally cold enough to.

I know healthy isn't usually the first thing that people think of when they think of a big warm bowl of comfort food, but who says that comfort food can't also help you reach those healthier eating goals for the new year?

Not these 12 Healthy & Comforting Soups I have rounded up from some of my favorite food blogs! :) That's right, folks. A dozen homemade soup recipes that are not only healthy, better for you, and packed with the good stuff, but that are also hearty and comforting at the same time...

Top 10 Posts of 2015 as clicked on, pinned, shared, and decided by you all- my readers.

Happy 2016, friends! :) Another year has come and passed here at Frugal Foodie Mama, and I have to say that 2015 was a pretty incredible year for this little space of mine. I had the pleasure of being invited to my first ever blogger press trip by the friendly and generous folks at Southern Living & Delta Faucet. Not only did I get to check off Birmingham from my travel bucket list, but I also got to tour Southern Living's headquarters & test kitchens and meet the incredibly talented people behind those southern recipes we look forward to each month. From there, 2015 just kept getting better for this little food blog of mine. I attended the Indulge Conference in Portland in May, and then traveled to Orlando for the Food & Wine Conference as a brand ambassador for Wisconsin Cheese. In August, my family and I were invited on our first travel media trip to a part of the Kidsburgh press tour hosted by the folks at Visit Pittsburgh. And I rounded out the year with a blogger press trip to Cleveland to take part in the Ohio Dairy Adventure. :)

I was afforded some incredible opportunities to work with some brands and companies that I had only dreamed of collaborating with before. And in return, I was able to provide you all with even more delicious and budget friendly recipes, money saving tips, and family friendly travel ideas in 2015. And speaking of family travel, I met my goal of really growing and expanding that section of Frugal Foodie Mama in 2015 ! :) If you haven't visited my Family Travel page recently, you should pop over and take a peek. I added lots of travel recaps and tips to that section over the past year.

I am so thankful for how much this blog has grown in the past 365 days, but as always none of this would be possible without all of you all. My readers who come back day after day to read my posts, share them, and support Frugal Foodie Mama. I can never say it enough, but THANK YOU. :) You all are the reason why this blog of mine has done so well.
And now for the real reason you all are here- the top posts of 2015! Not surprisingly, recipes dominated what you all loved the most from the past year. But we did have one non-recipe rank pretty darn high in the countdown this year.
Let the countdown from #10 to #1 begin NOW...

Enjoy ice cream at home all year round with these 10 Dessert Inspired Homemade Ice Cream Recipes...

Enjoy ice cream at home all year round with these 10 Dessert Inspired Homemade Ice Cream Recipes.

Okay, I know what you all may be thinking. Why am I sharing an ice cream recipe round-up in mid-October? Typically, ice cream is considered more of a summer thing, but do you all really only enjoy ice cream during the summer months?? I mean, come on... I know better than that, folks! ;) I, for one, can attest that we have at least one carton of ice cream (store bought or homemade) in our freezer at all times, 365 days of the year. We love ice cream way too much to just be confining our consumption of it to a measly 3 months out of each year.

Today's collection of homemade ice cream recipes is a little different though. I have rounded up 10 creamy, dreamy ice cream recipes that have all been inspired by the flavors in other desserts! Think pies, cakes, your favorite sweet treats of fall, and more, but in ice cream form. And bonus? Most of these ice cream recipes can be made at home without the aid of an ice cream maker...

Frugal Foodie Mama's Top 14 Recipes of 2014

Which Frugal Foodie Mama recipes were you clicking on, making, and pinning the most the past year? Find out now in my Top 14 Recipes of 2014...
Frugal Foodie Mama's Top 14 Recipes of 2014- the recipes you were clicking on, making, and pinning the most in 2014

I have to say that 2014 was an amazing year for the Frugal Foodie Mama blog.  At the beginning of the year, I set five rather lofty blog goals for 2014 and I am happy and thrilled to say that I met all but one of them. :)  I wanted to reach 15,000 Facebook fans (check!), 30,000 Pinterest fans (check!), attend my first in-person blogger conference (check!), make a certain income from my blogging for the year (check!), and reach an average of 200,000 page views a month for the year. I knew that last one was super ambitious for me, but even though I didn't reach my goal number I did come pretty darn close.

While I haven't set my blog goals for 2015 quite yet, I do know that one thing I will definitely be focusing on more is creating a better balance between my blogging and my home & family life.  Just like with any business you build yourself, a blog requires a lot of time, effort, and determination... and a certain degree of stubbornness up front. ;)  I would have never dreamed that when I really buckled down and got serious about this blog of mine in the summer of 2012 that it would be where it is today. And a lot of that has to do with each of you.  If it wasn't for you all coming back here day after day for my recipes, budget savvy tips, and family travels, Frugal Foodie Mama wouldn't be where it is on this last day of 2014. You have allowed me to stay at home with my sweet girl, be there for so many cross country and track meets for my son, help provide for my family, & all while doing something that I absolutely love.  For that, I say Thank you, friends. :)

And now without further adieu, here are the top 14 recipes from 2014 that had you all clicking back for more...
